A Escola Secundária Pierre Mendès-France, no XX distrito de Paris, é mais uma escola onde a ONG Veni Verdi mantém um convênio pelo qual implementa o cultivo de hortaliças e de outros plantas com a participação dos alunos e educadores.	The Pierre Mendès-France Secondary School, in the 20th district of Paris, is another school where the NGO Veni Verdi maintains an agreement that encourages the planting of vegetables and other plants with the participation of students and educators.
A Escola dispõe uma grande área aberta, ocupada por canteiros de diversos tipos e espaços cultivados de acordo com as práticas agroecológicas. Essa é uma situação especial, pois geralmente as escolas em Paris não possuem tanto espaço, muitas delas cultivando suas hortas em terraços.	The School has a large open area, occupied by various types of beds and spaces cultivated according the agroecological practices. This is a special situation because usually schools in Paris don't have so much space, many of them gardening on their terraces.
O aspecto social da agricultura praticada na Escola é dar oportunidade a alunos em situação de risco social e pouca proficiência escolar a perceberem seu próprio potencial produtivo, elevar sua autoestima, e estimulá-los a avançar também em outras dimensões de sua vida.	The social aspect of the agriculture practiced at the School is to provide opportunities for students at social risk and low school proficiency to realize their own productive potential, to raise their self-esteem, and to stimulate them to advance in other dimensions of their life as well.

De qualquer modo, noto mais uma vez a ausência de um sistema mais produtivo de compostagem em volumes maiores e mais controlado. Ensinar a compostar é tão importante quanto ensinar a plantar.
